Villa di Corlo is a reality passionately run by Antonia Munari, who produces not only wine, but, thanks to an vinegar factory located in the attic of the villa of the seventeenth century in the center of the estate, also traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena.

Love for the land and the environment are key values of the company

Energy saving and emissions containment are issues of fundamental importance for companies. In 2012, the company decided to invest in the production of energy from renewable photovoltaic sources, thus reducing to zero its greenhouse gas emissions and consequently promoting and enhancing its production, typically regional, especially towards foreign markets of reference, increasingly sensitive to environmental issues.

Concrete results
The investment in the production of energy from renewable sources at Villa di Corlo has allowed to reduce CO2 emissions into the atmosphere by about 105 tons/year, which corresponds, in 25 years of life of the plant, to about 2,625 tons of emissions less, equal to the annual consumption of about 40 families.

Environmental ethics
The company, with this investment, wants to be a positive example that ideally grafts in the community a virtuous circle based on ethical, social and environmental standards that can develop a new way of doing business at the local level.
